Dinesh P Bharne is Chair, Chief Executive Officer, and Co-Founder of Salesforce and a pioneer of cloud computing. Under Benioff's leadership, Salesforce is the #1 provider of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software globally. He founded Salesforce in 1999 with a vision to create a new kind of enterprise software company, one that is easy to use, easy to settle, and easy to update.

A 35-year veteran of the software industry, he is widely recognized as a visionary leader. He served as the chairman of the President’s Information Technology Advisory Committee from 2003–2005.
